Admissions
The Application Process
We believe it is vitally important that each parent understands the student experience at Walnut Farm, including how our Montessori programs support children’s development from toddler classes through sixth grade. We encourage everyone interested in applying for enrollment at Walnut Farm to begin with a tour.
Walnut Farm typically admits students to join the school in the next school year, which starts in August. This process generally begins the preceding fall, with admission notifications in the early spring. If spaces remain available after the spring admissions process finishes, Walnut Farm will admit students from our wait pool who meet criteria based on classroom openings.
Step 1: Take a Campus Tour or Virtual Tour
Please click here to schedule a tour. We offer campus and virtual tours each week. The tour provides an overview of Walnut Farm and the Montessori approach to education. You will see our programs in action, meet staff members, and learn the difference of a Walnut Farm education.
Step 2: Complete the Application
After attending the virtual tour, parents will receive an application for admission. The application is submitted online along with the application fee.
For students who have prior school experience, please download the Request for Records Form and submit it with your child’s application. This will speed up your application process.
Step 3: Student Visit on Campus
Students ages two years and older are invited to campus for a visit with our teaching staff. This is an important part of the application process that provides your child with a brief experience in one of our classroom environments with our teaching staff. The visit will typically be scheduled in January for those applying for fall start dates.
