Spring 2017 Parent Association Volunteer Opportunities
We strongly believe that Walnut Farm Montessori School is a family experience, and parent involvement is encouraged and welcomed. We want you to be involved as much as you would like to be, and in ways that interest you and work for your unique family situation. Remember, no task is too small; if you have very limited availability we understand that and will work with you to come up with opportunities for involvement that fit your schedule, and fulfill your 10 volunteer hours.
We have created the following sign-up genius with our families in mind. We hope that having a running sign-up sheet will help give a broader view of needs for the entire semester, as well as help families quantify their volunteer hours for our community. We have tried to start out with a comprehensive view of spring 2017 needs, however, as new opportunities arise they will be added to this sign-up sheet for your convenience. Heather, Nicole, and I would like to extend a HUGE thank you to all of our families for all that you do to support our Walnut Farm community! As always, we are open to suggestions and feedback.

Walnut Farm Montessori School
Please join Mr. Tony and the Parent Association for a morning of school improvement. We will work around campus doing those small odd jobs that need to get done but always get pushed further down the road. This day is a great way to help keep our school campus in great shape and fulfill your volunteer hours. Join us for as long as you can; we understand that there’s a lot going on this time of year!
2nd Annual Clubs and Crawfish

Golf Tournament: Bella Vista Country Club
Tee time: 1:00 (lunch immediately before)
Dinner and Family Fun: Kingsdale Recreation Complex
6:00pm – 8:00pm
We encourage all of our Walnut Farm families to attend the dinner event. We will have boiled crawfish, fried chicken, and fried fish basket options to choose from.
Please purchase dinner tickets no later than April 10th.

Teacher Appreciation Week

We are planning a fun-filled week to celebrate all of the hard work our teachers and support staff do throughout the year. Teachers and staff will receive something special each day this week. Staff Sustainability Cabinet
Sign Up To Bring Snacks For Our Teachers And Staff
Help keep our teachers and staff energized throughout the busy school day by dropping off a snack for their snack cabinet. Drop off your your choice of homemade goodies, crackers, snack bars, granola bars, something sweet, or something salty with the morning greeter. This doesn’t have to be an elaborate gesture, anything is appreciated. A box here and a plate there is really all that is needed, let’s not overwhelm them. Our teachers and staff will appreciate every last bite!
