Elementary Teacher
WFMS is hiring a credentialed and experienced Montessori Lower Elementary teacher to guide children ages 6 to 9 through a dynamic, child-centered learning journey. The ideal candidate holds a recognized Montessori certification (AMS, AMI, or MACTE) and brings proven experience fostering independence, curiosity, and academic growth in a prepared environment. The successful applicant is confident in leading a classroom with a focus on process, preparation for future learning, partnering with parents, and working collegially with peers. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a passionate team and support each child’s unique developmental path. Applicants should be able to pass a background check and be eligible to work in the United States.
Summary and Benefits
- Full Time, School Year Position: M-F, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm (occasional evening and weekend work for parent education and events)

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Montessori certification (MACTE-accredited; e.g,. AMS, AMI)
- Three years of teaching in a Montessori elementary classroom as a lead guide
- Criminal background check clearances
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
