From Roots to Wings

Walnut Farm Montessori School received re-accreditation from the American Montessori Society in 2017.  In honor of this achievement, we will celebrate together at “From Roots to Wings”. The event will take place from 5:00-8:00 on Friday, May 18. We will celebrate our school’s re-accreditation while we raise funds to strengthen the school and expand Walnut Farm’s ability to affect positive change as a leader in Montessori Education in the state of Arkansas.  Please join us for a sparkly toast to honor those who made re-accreditation possible. Food and drink will be available for purchase. We will also have a talent showcase, a dj, and a classroom art auction. 

We are seeking sponsors for this event. A sponsorship is a monetary contribution that supports the event and publicizes a business or organization at the event itself and through our webpage and social media. Such publicity will expose your business to the Walnut Farm community through promotion at the event itself as well as placement on our website, which receives approximately 1000 visits per month and our Facebook page which has approximately 600 likes and followers.

Annual Fund

While 100% of Walnut Farm Montessori School’s operating expenses are covered through tuition, WFMS Annual Giving allows the school to go above and beyond to invest in powerful projects, initiatives and improvements that enhance current programming for all of our students. This year, funds raised through Annual Giving will go toward renovation upgrades for the Elementary Program, painting the Toddler A classroom, building a bird sanctuary and trail and updating technological resources.

Gifts are 100% tax deductible. Donors are encouraged to check with their employer to discover if company donation matches are available. No gift is too small and every single donation equally contributes to reaching our 100% participation goal.

In addition to the on-going Annual Fund campaign, WFMS hosts two other major fundraising initiatives to fund major projects and initiatives. In the fall, the Parent Association partners with the parent community to host Walnut Farm Fall Family Days. This event invites WFMS families and friends to come out for a morning of family-friendly activities, local food vendors, and a pumpkin patch all located on our beautiful 6-acre campus. In the Spring we will host From Roots to Wings, a special Re-Accreditation Event that will take place on Friday, May 18 from 5:00-8:00.  Please join us to celebrate!
